A deal record

Change a deal's value, stage and close date, and read the history of how it got there.

Open a deal's record from the board, from a conversation or from a contact record. Each record is a full page with its own address, so you share it by link.

Fields

Keep on the deal what you need to close it:

Field Detail
Title What you call the opportunity.
Value and currency The expected amount. See Currencies.
Stage Where it sits in the pipeline.
Expected close When you expect to close it.
Contact and company Who it is with.
Description Context, conditions, what was agreed.

How the page is laid out

Read and edit the whole deal on one page, top to bottom and with no tabs:

  • Details: press Edit to change the title and the description.
  • Comments and Activity: a single feed. Comment on the deal right there and read every stage and value change, with who and when.

Change the value, the currency, the stage and the expected close in the side column.

Files

Attach the proposal, the contract or the purchase order to the deal. Wrap stores them with the deal rather than in the team's asset library, and deletes them with it if you delete the deal.

Invoicing in Flow

Mark the deal won and the three-dot menu offers you Create invoice in Flow. Wrap creates a draft invoice there with the customer and the amount already filled in. Open it from the notice confirming it was created.

A deal invoices once and no more. Press it again and Wrap tells you that sale already has an invoice and offers to open it, and from then on the menu reads Open invoice in Flow.

When something is missing, Wrap explains it rather than failing:

  • The deal has no contact or company to bill.
  • The deal has no value.
  • Flow is unavailable.

Back to the conversation

If the deal came from a conversation, go back to it from the link on the record.

Sharing

Use Copy link on the deal's card on the board to take away the address of the full record. It carries the workspace in it, so it opens the deal for anyone on the team. See Workspaces.
