Lost reasons
Why deals are lost, and how much money leaves with each reason.
Find out why your team loses deals and how much money leaves with each reason. Wrap groups the deals the team marked lost in the period by the reason recorded when they were lost.
What it shows
Read the two figures together:
- How many deals the team lost to each reason.
- How much value went with each.
Losing twenty small deals on "price" and two large ones on "timing" is not the same problem, and the report keeps them apart.
No reason
Record a reason every time you lose a deal: deals lost without one all land in the "no reason" group. If that group is the largest, the team is closing without writing anything down.
Where the reasons come from
Move a deal to Lost and pick a reason from the list, or Other to write your own.
Free text buys precision and costs you the grouping. Prefer a handful of repeatable reasons: they are worth more than thirty different sentences.
