Contacts
The people list, how Wrap creates records on its own, and what you do in bulk.
Wrap creates a contact the moment somebody writes to you on any channel, and you create the rest by hand.
The list
Check each person's name, email, phone, stage, source and the date they were added. Every contact carries their tags, and archived ones are marked.

Filter by lifecycle stage, by tag, and between active and archived. Search by name, email or phone, and sort by name or by date added. Save the combination you use often as a view.
Creating by hand
Create a contact from a single field: a name, an email or a phone number. Wrap refuses a completely empty contact.
Lifecycle stages
Mark where each person stands:
| Stage | When it applies |
|---|---|
| Lead | They wrote; whether they buy is still open. |
| Qualified | There is real interest. |
| Customer | They bought. |
| Churned | They left or stopped answering. |
When a deal is won, Wrap offers to mark the contact as Customer if they are not one already. It is a suggestion, not an automatic change.
Owner
Assign an owner to split a book of business and filter what is yours. Assign one at a time or in bulk.
Bulk actions
Select several rows and act on all of them at once:
- Add or remove tags.
- Assign an owner.
- Archive or restore.
- Delete.
Archiving takes them out of the lists and you get them back from the Archived filter. Deleting is irreversible, and Wrap keeps the conversations: deleting the record does not delete the message history.
Import and export
Import or export contacts from the buttons in the header. See Import and export.
