Member permissions
The three things an admin decides whether members may do.
Wrap splits its screens into three tiers: the day's work, the definition of the workspace, and three permissions an admin opens or closes.
Tier 1: the work
Walk into these screens without asking anyone. Everyone with access to Wrap works in them, and nobody can close them:
Inbox, contacts, companies, deals, assets, notifications, saved replies, and applying or creating tags inline.
Tier 2: defining the workspace
Define the workspace from these screens, which are admins only. Nobody can open them to members:
Channel configuration, custom fields, deal stages, workspace settings, and renaming or deleting tags.
If you are a member and need a change from here, ask a workspace admin for it.
Tier 3: the grey zones
Set these three permissions in the workspace settings:
| Permission | Default | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Send broadcasts | Admins only | The widest blast radius: it reaches every contact and you cannot recall it. |
| View agent activity | Admins only | It compares named teammates. |
| View reports | All members | Aggregate team totals, no per-person ranking; withholding makes the team worse at its job. |
Where the settings are
Open Personal in the sidebar for what is yours: Signature and Saved replies. The tier 2 screens live under Workspace, and an admin opens them.
Where it is enforced
Wrap enforces these permissions on the link and on the address. If you lack a permission, you do not see the link in the sidebar. Typing the address gets you no further: Wrap sends you back to where you can work. Ask a workspace admin for the permission.
