AI usage
The workspace's shared pool, how much of it is gone, and who is using it.
See how much AI you have spent this month, and how much of the team's pool that is. Every app in the suite draws on the same monthly pool: a question asked in Wrap and one asked in Swarm come out of the same bag. You look at it on two screens, with the same unit and different scope.
Your usage
Open Personal → AI usage to see what you have spent this month:
- Questions you asked this month, in any app.
- Credits those questions cost.
- What share of the team's pool that is, and how many seats share it.
The workspace's usage
Open Workspace → AI usage to see how much of the team's pool is left and who is spending it:
- Used this month, with how many credits are left.
- Monthly pool, derived from the seats with access. In some workspaces it is set by hand.
- Team questions, across every person and app.
- By app, when more than one is in play.
- By person, largest first, each with their share of the pool.
If you do not see this screen, ask the workspace owner or an admin for the figure.
How to think about the pool
Three rules explain how far the pool goes and how it grows:
- A credit is one US cent. A typical question costs between 1 and 5; a long one costs more than a short one.
- The pool belongs to the team, not the person. Nobody has a cap of their own: everyone draws on it according to what they ask.
- The pool grows with app access. Each access granted to an app adds 500 credits a month. Accesses, not people: somebody who can open Wrap and Swarm contributes twice. Your role in the workspace adds nothing: only access granted app by app counts. The pool never drops below one seat's worth: a half-configured workspace does not sit at zero.
The counter goes back to zero with the month in UTC, so in Colombia the cut-off lands late in the afternoon of the last day.
If you reach 100%, the assistant stops answering across every app until next month. From 80% on, Nest warns you that the pool is running out. Widen it by granting someone access to one more app: each new access adds its 500 credits that same month.
